Visit to a Sisal Plant - Kilifi

During our journeys for Kenyan fashion revolution, we visited a sisal manufacturing plant on the coast of Kenya, specifically in the picturesque region of Kilifi. The coastal scenery was breathtaking, with stunning views of the sisal farm.

It was fascinating to observe the process of extracting fiber from the sisal leaves, drying it, and combing it into bundles. These bundles are then sent to weavers who transform them into sisal rugs, mats, baskets, and various other items.
