JZO Unveils 'SCARS' Collection in Lagos

On November 2019, JZO, a pioneering Nigerian menswear label, showcased its latest collection, 'SCARS,' against the backdrop of Lagos' picturesque beaches. Founded in 2014 by Creative Directors Joseph O. Ike and Ola Akindeinde, JZO merges traditional Nigerian menswear with contemporary design, challenging stereotypes and exploring masculinity.

The 'SCARS' collection, capturing the resilience inherent in life's experiences, was an honor to work with the brand and bring there vision to life. Featuring native Nigerian textiles and weaving techniques, each garment symbolized the beauty found in facing history and culture.

Supported by a talented team including Edwin Okolo, Neec Nonso and model Shamz Garuba, represented by My Booker Models, the shoot epitomized JZO's commitment to innovation and storytelling.
